Day 1 Trainning begins

I began training today with the new polar f6 heart rate monitor. I pointed out pretty quickly that I am not in that good of shape. My program today consisted of a 5 minute stretching routine followed by a run. The nice thing about heart training is that it prohibited me from getting weak. The results of the program according to the watch are as follows:

Calories: 509
Time: 34.16
Max HR: 166
Avg HR: 147

The total distance was around 2 miles. I will measure soon on google maps as soon as I make or find a nice measuring tool for grease monkey. I weighed in tonight at 225. Hopefully the pounds will come off.
